Abstract
The project will help to reduce the barriers for the development of the demand for solar technologies. It will specifically assist local stakeholders in building local capacities to promote, finance, install and maintain solar applications, and help to develop and implement favourable regulatory frameworks, and facilitate the establishment of viable financial mechanisms (micro lending and mortgage additions).
