Abstract

The project "Catalysing modern energy service delivery to marginal communities in Southern Africa" aims at improving access to energy services and increasing the use of renewable energy technologies in poor, rural areas of Malawi, Mozambique and Zimbabwe. The project will apply community based management models in the establishment and operation of microhydro power systems in the three districts Mulanje, Manica and Nyanga. The project is targeted at the general population, private energy enterprises, rural artisans, local partners, and community based organisations.
