Abstract
The project aims at providing an adequate supply of energy for Cabo Delgado province, hereby supporting the growth of local industries, promoting local trade and providing employment opportunities, as well as social welfare for the population through electrification of health and education facilities. Specifically, activities are directed at extending the national grid, thus connecting more people, by assembling and installing poles, towers, installation cables, street light points and so forth. The electrification project is expected to facilitate a long-term economic development of the area.
