Abstract
This project aims at developing prototypes of a rural electrification system capable of generating electricity to meet the basic needs of a family, and test them with families in remote areas of Colombia.Electricity is generated from solar energy.The system is cheap, easy to transport and install. It will be validated and promoted among the entities responsible of rural electrification in the country with the purpose of bringing power to many more families in the near future.
