Abstract
To improve the quality of life of the population and to support production using renewable energies in a community in Bolivia, Practical Action implemented low-cost construction methods for civil works including a 60-kW micro hydroelectric power plant, which provides 60 families, health and education sector with electricity 24 hours a day.
