Abstract

Demonstrating the potential of solar energy as a viable power source for improving education in the remote rural regions in Nepal, a combined 6.7kW PV systems were installed in 2 rural schools, giving access for the first time to electricity to light classrooms and operate computers. Portable solar home systems were distributed to residents as well
