IOP Science has launched a call for papers for the special issue Energy Transitions and Sustainable Transformations in Africa. This dynamic special issue is focused on the intersectionality of energy transitions in Africa. The goal is to enable deeper discussion on the dimensions of energy transition relevant to productive and resilient rural landscapes, sustainable urbanization, resilient infrastructure development, and green industrialization in Africa.
This series aims to identify sectors where sustainable energy transition plays a transformative role, as well as the challenges and opportunities therein, and to grow the research base for energy transition dialogue in Africa. Local and diaspora author participation is highly encouraged.
