World Future Energy Summit, Abu Dhabi, 19-22 January 2015

08.01.2015

Energy is crucial to nearly every major challenge and opportunity the world faces today. The great energy challenge of our time is to meet the demands of a growing world economy. As the world’s population surge to 8 billion by 2030, the struggle to produce 50% more food and energy and 30% more fresh water, whilst reducing greenhouse gas emissions, becomes more intense. No less urgent is the need to bring modern energy services to the 1.3 billion people who still lack access to electricity today.

The World Future Energy Summit is the Middle East’s largest gathering on future energy and one that drives actionable solutions to the world’s energy challenges.  WFES 2015 will host 30.000 delegates from 170 different countries, representing expertise from industry, technology, finance and government.

Governments around the world are pledging their commitments to improve energy efficiency, deliver energy access and drive clean energy deployment. As an international conference and business platform, WFES 2015 will provide energy stakeholders (Heads of States, Governments, Academia and the Business and Financial communities) with opportunities to meet with their peers, exchange technology and make decisions that promote a better energy future.
