Abstract
The objectives of the project are: (i) to facilitate increased access to electricity to targeted rural house holds, social institutions, farmers and small scale commercial undertakings. (ii) to facilitate private public partnership in rural electrification projects in order to leverage financing for the Zambian rural electrification programme; (iii) to promote application of different electrification technologies in order to maximise sustainable utilisation of locally available energy resources.
