Abstract
Elephant Energy uses a women-focused, village-based sales model in Namibia and on the Navajo Nation. We recruit, train and equip women to be Energy Entrepreneurs, empowering them to deliver safe, clean and money-saving energy technologies, such as solar-powered lanterns, cell phone chargers, directly to the doorsteps of their neighbors.This village-based sales model enables greater energy access in remote communities and generates income for rural women and improve their own standard of living.
