This webinar will showcase multistakeholder initiatives that are focusing on enabling a labour market that is more sustainable, inclusive and that supports employability for all. It will build on discussions from the 2025 EU Green Week session “Pathways to a Circular Economy: Adapting VET Training to Market Needs” and aim to identify scalable solutions that equip all workers with the skills they need for a sustainable future.

The BuildSkills Academy and its Certification Framework, which aims to enhance the capacity of VET providers in Europe to deliver transferable training for the construction sector with EU-wide recognition.
IOM – Skills Mobility Partnerships, a new model for aligning skills development with employer needs across sectors, responding to private sector needs in countries of origin and in countries of destination, especially under the context of global shortage of green and digital skills. Global Labor Market Conference, a global platform for designing practical solutions to labor market challenges. The Capabilities 4 the Future Hub, a global hub to support coordination between governments, industry, and education providers to align industrial policy with skills development and create capacity-building opportunities, particularly for SMEs and lower-income regions.
