WRI Webinar: Just Transition in LTS: Where have we been and where are we going?

The 2050 is Now webinar – Just Transition in LTS: Where have we been and where are we going? – will present an analysis of how countries have incorporated just transition into their Long-Term Low-Emission Development Strategies (LT-LEDS) so far. Experts from Brazil, Panama, UK and other countries will discuss their efforts, as well as what to expect on the international stage and from Brazil's presidency of COP30.

The event will be in English, with simultaneous translation into Portuguese and Spanish.

The 2050 is Now Consortium is a group of partners dedicated to providing governments and in-country research institutions with the tools and analysis needed to strengthen long-term low emission development strategies (LT-LEDS) and reduce global greenhouse gas emissions in line with national development goals. The 2050 is Now webinar series will invite experts from around the world to explore best practices and lessons learned on LT-LEDS topics.
