REGISTER NOW: Educating for Climate Action Summit

The Educating for Climate Action Summit will take place in-person during Climate Week NYC. This Summit, held at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian, will bring together formal and informal educators from diverse backgrounds to explore key themes in climate change education, including the integration of youth perspectives, Indigenous knowledge systems, and climate justice in learning experiences in and out of the classroom. 

The summit will feature sessions on a variety of important topics, such as:

  • Advancing Climate Literacy and Justice through P-12 and higher education
  • Building a Climate Ready Workforce
  • Exploring Indigenous innovations
  • Addressing Climate Change and Mental Health
  • Effective Communication Strategies for Climate Issues
  • Engaging Multiple Generations in Climate Action
