In this webinar, CMCC will explore nature-based solutions (NbS) for climate adaptation, specifically focusing on how to identify the root causes of the problem, including different typologies and implementation on the ground, their financing mechanisms and possible replication and upscale. Join CMCC to gain practical insights from a TransformAr demonstrator, the European Environment Agency, the Metropolitan City of Milan and the IMPETUS project, member of the Green Deal Support Office (GDSO) Working Group on Biodiversity and Climate Change.
This event is part of the EU TransformAr Project, in collaboration with the EU Mission on Adaptation to Climate Change and the GDSO, as part of the activities of the Peer-2-Peer programme and the Working Group on Biodiversity and Climate Change. TransformAR aims to promote large-scale transformative adaptation in vulnerable European regions. The project implements a range of actionable adaptive solutions covering nature-based solutions, innovative technologies, financing, insurance models, awareness programs, and governance models.
