The Rockefeller Foundation’s president Dr. Rajiv Shah has written a book called Big Bets: How Large-Scale Change Really Happens, available October 10.
In this book, Shah will share stories—from his own career, the 110-year history of the Foundation, and leaders as well as unsung heroes around the world—that reveal it is realistic to be optimistic about our capacity to make large-scale change.
The proceeds from Big Bets will go to The Rockefeller Foundation and contribute to its ongoing work to support big bets for humanity—and those who will lead them.
It’s already getting some buzz and was recently selected as an October Must-Read Book by the Next Big Ideas Club (a list of promising, must-read titles curated by Susan Cain, Malcolm Gladwell, Adam Grant, and Daniel Pink).
"Raj Shah has written a practical guide to making the world a better place. He knows what he’s talking about because he’s done it himself. Anyone who wants to make a change in the world, or their own lives, will benefit from this book.”
