The Women fo Expo Week: building the future with women’s ideas. Even food

The Women for Expo organization (President Federica Mogherini, Honorary President Emma Bonino and Executive Chairman Marta Dassù) develops through dedicated projects, initiatives to build awarness, from different creative inspirations and projected into the future.
First of all it allows women of Participating Countries in Expo Milano 2015 to speak of "food for the body and nutrition of liberty and intelligence", believing that the planet sustainability also needs to be a new alliance between food and culture and that the architects of this new look and new pact for the future have to be women. Artists, writers, great personality, but also ordinary women will be present.
In particular, the Section for Women Expo - International is a network of women internationally relevant, bring a clear message: the need to put the world's attention on the issue of food waste and resources in general. Women for Expo International created the document Women for Expo Alliance, the new Global Alliance Women's food waste for strengthening the role of women in agriculture.
Programme full of events, up to 10 July. Marta Dassù, Senior Director of the Aspen Institute and Director of Aspenia, the journal of the Aspen Institute Italy, is organizing the Aspen Forum 2015, in collaboration with Milano Expo, which will focus in particular on three issues: Food safety and effects on transatlantic relations; nutrition and health, with special emphasis on gender; the relationship between scientific progress and the increase of food production.
The issue of nutrition and health will be addressed in the workshop, on 8 July at 2pm, which Aspen, WAME and the Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves organized at Cascina Triulza and analyze the widespread problem of access to clean and sustainable cooking methods saving people's health and the environment.
