Global Renewable Energy Forum 2021

The 5th edition of the Global Renewable Energy Forum (GREF) is organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea, Bonn Office in cooperation with IRENA and REN21. It takes place as a hybrid conference on September 16, 2021, from 9:00-13:15 hrs (CEST) in Bonn, Germany.
 
GREF 2021 focuses on net zero-emission pathways of the public sector (Korea, Germany, EU) and the private sector (cement, chemicals, steel) as well as on the key role of cities in achieving the energy transition with a particular focus on heating and cooling. It demonstrates ways to achieve net zero emissions by mid-century and particularly focuses on how to implement ambitious 2030 targets.
