On Thursday 17 October, at 10:00, ASviS will present the ninth Report "Italy and the Sustainable Development Goals" in Rome, at the Sala dell’Acquario Romano in Piazza Manfredo Fanti.
Thanks to the contribution of thousands of experts from the organizations adhering to the Alliance, the Report provides an analysis of Italy's positioning with respect to the 17 Goals of the 2030 Agenda (SDGs) and provides an overview of the initiatives introduced so far in the world, in Europe and in Italy in favor of sustainable development. The document also illustrates the results of various surveys that investigate citizens' opinion on sustainability. Finally, it advances proposals for transformative interventions, both in the perspective of the new European legislature and in the definition of Italy's acceleration plan on the SDGs.
There are only six years left until the deadline for the UN Goals, but it is clear that the efforts made so far at global, European and national levels are not sufficient to achieve the goals set. For this reason, the next five years will be crucial, on the one hand to accelerate the global commitment, on the other to define the next sustainable development agenda.
In addition to the presidents and the scientific director of ASviS, the meeting will be attended, among others, by the Minister of Enterprise and Made in Italy Adolfo Urso, the president of Cnel Renato Brunetta and the president of the Jacques Delors Institute Enrico Letta.
Registrations to participate in person are now closed, it will also be possible to follow the meeting in live streaming on this page and on the social channels of ASviS.
